Welcome! Whether you are visiting Seattle Yacht Club as the guest of a member, to participate in an event, or as a reciprocal guest, SYC welcomes you to our Portage Bay Mainstation.

Members' guests

Guests of members are always welcome to utilize the Club's facilities when accompanied by their member host.

Event guests

Whether you're a guest at Seattle Yacht Club for a public event such as Opening Day or a private catered event, we want to make sure that you enjoy the hospitality of the Club.

Guests arriving by land should check with the event coordinator or their sponsoring host for arrival times or other details about the event. If you are arriving by car, you're welcome to use the Club's parking lot. Guest boaters planning to arrive by boat at Seattle Yacht Club for special events should make arrangements with the event coordinator ahead of time so that we may accommodate your vessel.

While at the Club, guests may pay for their purchases with Visa or Mastercard; cash and checks are not accepted. Guests are required to comply with all Club rules and regulations, which include no use of cell phones inside the Clubhouse, on the decks or the front porch area. Tipping is not allowed. Smoking is prohibited both inside the Club and on the docks.

Reciprocal guests

Reciprocal Guests of select yacht clubs are invited to use our restaurants, bar, retail store and guest moorage. For more information, visit the Reciprocal Guest page.
